Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By signing up or participating in a giveaway, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

NerdzLab Giveaways is a stream giveaway tool for Counter-Strike skins and other items. Giveaways happen every stream, while the prize pool resets on the 1st of each month. An authorized admin operates a case-style spinner to select winners. The service includes public winner history and optional platform linking for prize delivery.

3. Eligibility

• You must follow twitch.tv/nerdzlab or be subscribed to the NerdzLab YouTube channel.
• You must provide a valid Steam trade URL — we derive your Steam profile from it.
• You must be a member of the NerdzLab Discord server and hold the Verified role.
• Your Steam account must be connected to your Discord profile (Discord → User Settings → Connections) and must be the same Steam account as your trade URL. Changing your trade URL to a different Steam account invalidates your Discord verification and you must re-verify.
• Your Twitch/YouTube, Discord, and Steam accounts must each be at least 45 days old.
• Any Twitch, YouTube, or Steam accounts connected to your Discord profile must match the accounts you link here.
• We may ban, reset, or delete an account at any time for multi-accounting, falsified links, or other abuse of the giveaways.
• You must pass our anti-bot verification checks.
• Employees of NerdzLab and their immediate family members may be excluded from giveaways.

4. Staying eligible after signup

Eligibility is ongoing, not one-off. A background check runs regularly against your linked accounts.

• We re-check your NerdzLab Discord membership and Verified role. Leaving the server or losing the role marks your profile non-compliant.
• You may be asked to re-run the Discord verification popup periodically (roughly every 30 days) or whenever we cannot read your connections. Until you do, your profile is non-compliant.
• Your Twitch, YouTube, Discord and Steam display names are refreshed automatically if you rename on those platforms. Previous names are kept so past winnings still resolve to you. Changing the underlying account is a re-link and is subject to the rules below.
• While your profile is non-compliant, you can be skipped or blocked from winning until it is resolved. Your profile page shows the reason and a re-verify button.

Your display name is derived from your linked Twitch or YouTube account and cannot be changed manually. You are responsible for keeping your Steam trade URL accurate and up to date, and for maintaining your follow/subscription and Discord Verified role. Accounts that fail verification or are flagged for review may be excluded from winning until an admin clears them.

5. Changing linked accounts

Link the accounts you actually intend to use. Changing a linked Twitch, YouTube, Discord or Steam account is only possible by completing a fresh sign-in that proves you own the new account — we never accept a manual change.

• After any link change, your linked accounts are locked for 7 days. An admin can unlock them sooner at their discretion.
• Previously linked accounts are retained on your profile record; they are not erased when you re-link.
• Every link, unlink and re-link is logged with a timestamp, IP address, device fingerprint, and the old and new account identifiers. These logs are reviewed periodically and when winners are selected.
• A re-link flags your profile for manual review. Changing linked accounts may result in review, disqualification from a giveaway, or temporary suspension from giveaways.

6. Giveaway rules

• Giveaways run every stream. The giveaway inventory is purchased monthly and ranges from approximately $0.05 to $1 per item. All items must be awarded before the pool resets on the 1st of each month.
• Winners are selected at random by the authorized admin using the spinner.
• Each item can only be awarded while stock remains in the current month's pool.
• Prizes are delivered via Steam trade to the trade URL on file. Items recently bought or traded may be under a Steam trade hold, so delivery can be delayed until the hold expires.
• Armory redeems logged by an admin appear on your profile alongside spinner wins and follow the same delivery and trade-hold rules.
• NerdzLab reserves the right to disqualify entries that appear fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these terms.

7. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts or use fake platform profiles.
• Attempt to manipulate the spinner or giveaway outcome.
• Harass admins, other participants, or NerdzLab staff.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

Counter-Strike skin images and names are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners (Valve Corporation and skin creators). NerdzLab does not claim ownership of these assets. The spinner interface, code, and NerdzLab branding are the property of NerdzLab.

9. Limitation of liability

NerdzLab provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or any indirect damages arising from your use of the service or participation in giveaways. Our total liability is limited to the value of the item at issue, where permitted by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason at our discretion.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. The latest version is always available at this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NerdzLab operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
